As some of the more eagle eyed community members may have noticed the very first hands-on coverage of Dawn of War II: Retribution has started to hit with the inclusion of an all new race with a distinctly Imperial feel. Keep your eyes peeled as we unveil more throughout January including an in-depth reveal on IGN on the 19th!
Producing at Relic
Relic can use this as a way to expand their voice beyond their normal communication channels. It provides the ability to do short bite-sized posts of images or videos the same way that Flickr and YouTube do while also allowing for more long-form posts like this one. Allowing for Guest Authors the Relic blog could easily be a voice for everyone in the company to speak on-behalf of Relic about the industry.
This is a sample post to show how it would look if someone wrote an actual post. With Tumblr we would have the flexibility to be able to post a developer diary or a blog post about working at Relic, a product that they’re working on or a post about the industry. This can include text, images and other elements just as a regular blog post can.
Also like Facebook and Twitter Tumblr has a number of social media functions that allow for any content we post to be quickly distributed beyond our traditional community. If we post some cool promotional art for a new game, say the next iteration of the Dawn of War franchise, this can be picked up and “re-blogged” by other Tumblr users who can then have it “re-blogged” from them.
